The Unique Event Will Combine Corporate Social Responsibility & Community Service, Procurement Professional Development & Networking, and New York City-Style Fine Dining and Atmosphere

CPO Connect is a series of regional events in which Zycus assembles intimate groups of high-ranking procurement executives and thought leaders for unique evenings combining professional networking knowledge sharing, team building and collaboration activities, with fun and relaxation in deluxe settings.
While last year's NYC event culminated in a skyline river cruise, this year's event reflects a rising emphasis in procurement on corporate social responsibility and giving back to local communities.
Zycus guests will begin their evening with an informative presentation by Christopher Sawchuk, Principal & Global Procurement Advisory Practice Leader with The Hackett Group, a world leading researcher in business performance benchmarking and management. Sawchuk will then join a panel discussion, featuring Niklas Hamnstedt, Chief Procurement Officer with TE Connectivity and Marianna Danchisko, Director of Global Sourcing and Supplier Diversity with Celgene Corporation. The panel discussion will be moderated by Zycus' Vice President of Corporate Development, Richard Waugh.
Following the evening's educational segment, Zycus guests will collaborate in teams to assemble -- with expert oversight -- new bicycles to be donated to children in need through a well-known charitable organization. "Building a bicycle is quite a complex process," notes Waugh. "We thought, what better way to encourage our guests to utilize and expand their skills for team management, collaboration, and negotiation?" adds Waugh.
The bike-building work will be followed by cocktails, spectacular city views from a 1,000 square foot balcony, and dinner overseen by Michelin-award-winning chef Charlie Palmer at midtown Manhattan's iconic D&D building at the corner of 3rd Avenue and East 59th Street.
